Heritage Christian University is thrilled to announce Grammy Award-winning bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs and his esteemed band Kentucky Thunder will be the entertainment for the annual Heritage Event on August 24, 2024, at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Among his many accolades, Ricky Skaggs is a 15-time Grammy Award winner, CMA and ACM Male Vocalist of the Year, and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder are renowned for their masterful performances that seamlessly blend bluegrass and country music. With a career spanning over five decades, Skaggs has left an indelible mark on the music industry, captivating audiences worldwide with his timeless hits.

 Tickets for the Heritage Event are now available for purchase, and organizers encourage the community to secure their seats early for what promises to be a night of exceptional entertainment. General Admission tickets are $75, and a variety of table sponsorships are available.
