Mane Room Music Festival
University of North Alabama’s Singing River Records is hosting the Mane Room Music Festival on April 22-24, 2025. Each night will have a unique event starting with the Sound of the Town Songwriter’s competition on Tuesday.

Jazz on the Porch
The University of North Alabama Cole Honors College and Department of Music present Jazz on the Porch. There will be jazz performances by UNA Student and faculty on April 30 from 5-7pm at Coby Hall on UNA’s campus.

Cloverdale Flea Market
There will be an indoor and outdoor flea market in Cloverdale on May 3-4. It will be at the old Cloverdale Elementary School.

Helen Keller Festival Color Run
The run is a 5K Fun Run and Fundraising Event that starts in downtown Tuscumbia and ends in Spring Park. Participants will be showered with color throughout with a food truck and more color fun at the finish line. This is a family-friendly event that benefits the festival and our Keller Kids program.

Lucky Duck Dive
There will be a Lucky Duck Dive at Royal Avenue Pool in Florence with all proceeds benefitting the Florence Education Foundation. The drawing will be on May 3 at 12PM. One lucky duck will be drawn for $5,000. It’s $10 per duck.

Disney's the Lion King: Live in Concert
The Shoals Symphony will be performing the music to Disney’s the Lion King at Norton Auditorium on May 3, 2025 at 7pm.

2nd Annual Shoals Cottagecore Festival
The 2nd Annual Shoals Cottagecore Festival will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025! It will be showcasing over 90 skilled artisan vendors, the best food trucks in the Shoals, Entertainment, activities and more!!

Arts Alive 2025
The 2025 Art Alive Festival will be on May 17-18th at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts and Wilson Park in Downtown Florence. The festival features quality national, regional and local artists and crafters. Admission is free.

Tennessee Valley Arts Summer Camps
TVAA is having Acting and Art Summer camps this June and July at the Ritz Theatre in Sheffield.

Rally at the River 2025
The 23rd Annual Rally at the River benefit concert for St. Jude will be on June 20-21, 2025 at McFarland Park. Rally at the River was started twenty-two years ago by a group of nonprofit people to support St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The public is invited to attend.

Spirit of Freedom Celebration 2025
Celebrate Independence Day at McFarland Park with a day full of fun with food trucks and live music. Then enjoy fireworks over the river at night! Food trucks open at 11am. Free entry. All are welcome!

Tennessee Valley Arts Summer Camp

Underwood Baptist Easter Egg Hunt
Visit Underwood Baptist Church for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt on April 19 at 10:00 AM. Kids from preschool through 6th grade are invited to hunt for eggs, enjoy exciting activities, and celebrate the joy of Easter together.

3rd Annual Senior Citizen's Prom
Florence City Parks & Recreation and Caring Connection are hosting the 3rd Annual Senior Citizen’s Prom on Monday, April 14 at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum. Come out for a fun-filled evening with dancing, food, and door prizes.

Screening of the Outsiders Movie with C. Thomas Howell

Florence Orchestra will be performing music from popular film scores on April 8th at 7pm. The performance will be at Florence High School Auditorium.

Dragons and Mythical Beasts Live at UNA
Enter into a magical world of myths and legends in this fantastical new interactive show for all the family The Tennessee Valley Art Association is excited to offer both school and public shows of this experience to our region. This performance will be held on Tuesday, April 8th, at 12PM and 7PM in the Norton Auditorium.

UNA Pop-Up Art Exhibition
An exclusive one-night-only pop-up gallery showcasing the incredible talent of UNA students & local artists across various mediums. This event will be on Monday, April 7 from 4-8 pm at Singin’ River Brewing Co. It is a free event and everyone is invited to attend.

On March 31, 2025, Shoals Scholar Dollars and Broadway & Beyond Theatricals are bringing you “R.E.S.P.E.C.T. - A Celebration of Aretha Franklin.” This touring production is hitting 42 cities across the US, and Florence has been chosen as one of the lucky recipients. The performance will be on March 31 at 7pm at Norton Auditorium.

Opening Sushi Reception for Kazari Art Exhibition
Tennessee Valley Museum of Art is hosting a grand opening for its new exhibit: Kazari: Decorative Arts of Japan. The opening reception will be on March 22 at 6pm featuring sushi and cocktails and a collector’s tour.

T. Graham Brown at the Shoals Theatre

73rd Annual Pancake Days
The Florence Kiwanis Club will be having its 73rd Annual Pancake Days on March 7-8th at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum.

City of Lights by Shoals Symphony Orchestra
The Shoals Symphony Orchestra presents City of Lights. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Paris with a concert featuring Gershwin’s “American in Paris,” and other French themed classics. Performance will be at Norton Auditorium on Sunday, March 2nd at 3pm.

Tennessee Jr High Cinch Rodeo
The Tennessee Jr High Cinch Rodeo will be at Longhorn Arena in Tuscumbia on March 1st, 2025. Gates open at 6:00PM and Rodeo at 7:00 PM. Adults are $15 and Children Ages (5-12) $10.

An Evening with Wildwood Trio
The Wildwood Trio consists of Tony Lee, Malcolm Singleton, and Eddie Martin, three longtime members of the Muscle Shoals area music community. Collaboration: An Evening with the Wildwood Trio will consist of specially chosen songs by each trio member. This event will be at the Ritz Studio on March 1 at 7pm.

Tunes for Tuscumbia: A Benefit for Our City
Kingpin’s is BANDing together with musicians and local businesses to raise money for the businesses that were directly affected by the tornado that hit Tuscumbia. They will have live music for three days and will be asking for a $10 donation minimum per day to help raise money.

Law Enforcement & Firefighters Appreciation Day
First Southern Baptist Church will be having a Law Enforcement and Firefighters Appreciation Day on Feb 28th. To show their appreciation and gratitude they will serving free meals for Law Enforcement and Firefighters all day.
