Brick Hatton’s 3rd Annual Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 from 11am-2pm. The 2023 event promises to be larger than previous events with greater participation. This year’s parade begins at 10:30am from Brick School Rd. and River Rd. and will feature Lawrence Huffman as Grand Marshall. Huffman boasts a rich history of military and civil service and serving as Brick Hatton’s former Volunteer Fire Chief. Contact Captain Wade Qualls for more parade information at 256-275-1069.
There will be inflatables at the Kid Zone, a dunking booth, and free fire truck rides for the kids. There will be a trunk or treat area, so they should get plenty of candy. Assorted door prizes will be given away and $10 tickets will be sold toward a grand raffle drawing for a Tao Motor 125 Big Wheel four-wheeler.
Plenty of affordable food options will be on site with burgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, and cotton candy this year. The food prices have been kept low with families in mind.
The Brick Hatton VFD appreciates the opportunity to provide a clean, safe, family-oriented event for the community. All proceeds benefit the VFD.
