Get ready for the 3rd annual ranger-led hike along the riverbank on the Island Loop Trail at Pickwick Landing State Park.
The 2.8 mile trail is located around the campgrounds and cabin area and features woodsy terrain, shorelines, and a view of the Pickwick Dam. It is an easy natural surface hike that crosses history, heritage, wildlife, TVA, and river commerce.
A Tennessee RiverLine Local Leadership Team member will greet hikers with Tennessee RiverLine info and a souvenir Fit as a Fiddle keychain.
Meet at the trailhead near the cabin area at 10 AM.
What should you bring? Warm clothes, closed-toed and comfortable shoes, a bottle of water, your friends and family, and Christmas smiles. You are encouraged to dress in the Christmas spirit for some great photos and fun memories.
