Helen Keller Festival
Join us in celebrating the incredible life of Helen Keller in Tuscumbia, AL, the town where she grew up. There will be live music, art and craft vendors, tasty food, historic walking tours, a car show, the Miracle Worker Play, and more exciting events!
Power of Play
We would like to invite you to celebrate our 20-year anniversary with a free to the public, Mental Health Awareness event, the Power of Play! Tennessee Valley Pediatrics has been a vital part of keeping the Shoals Area’s children and families healthy for the past 20 years.
Miracle Worker Play
The first performance for this year’s Miracle Worker production will be on June 2nd! Watch the story of young Helen Keller and her teacher Anne Sullivan happening live at Helen Keller’s birthplace.
22nd Annual North Alabama African Heritage Festival
The North Alabama African Heritage Association will be hosting the 22nd Annual African Heritage Festival at the Willie Green Recreation Center in Tuscumbia. This festival will give you the opportunity to learn more about African cultures and heritage through live music, delicious food, and a parade featuring African fashions.
Music in the Park Featuring David Phillips & Tommy Summerhill
